Team Sahlen heads North of the Border ready to take all in GT
Team Sahlen heads North of the Border for Round 11 of the ROLEX GT Sports Car Series. In the last two races, Team Sahlen has captured 3 Top Ten Finishes. This includes a 6th place at Mid-Ohio and a fine 8th and 9th at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama.
Additionally, at Barber Motorsports Park, Joe Sahlen & Will Nonnamaker collected their 3rd SUN TRUST Most Improved Position award for 2008. The SUN TRUST is awarded to the car the increases the most number of positions from start to finish in the race.
For the Montreal Weekend, Team Sahlen will have an all Nonnamaker line-up. Will Nonnamaker will be starting the #43 Corvette and then finishing the #42 racer. Will's brother Wayne will finish the #43 Corvette. Plus, Will's father Joe will start the #42 racer.
"I am excited about Montreal. We had good pace here last year. And we have made lots of improvements to the Corvette since then. Hopefully, our pace and consistency from the last two races continues to play out at this event. And getting to drive both the start and the finish is a challenge that I am looking forward too." - states Will Nonnamaker
