In a strong GT field boasting 26 entries, Team Sahlen posted a strong qualifying performance to start 9th in the Miller 1000 km event.
Will Nonnamaker qualified the #42 HRPWorld.com Corvette with a time of 2:58.2.
"With this being a 1000 km event, the majority of the GT entrants came out full force in qualifying, starting their shoes. For us to come out here and start 9th is very gratifying. Plus, it is a great spring board to 2008, as we prepare to make the next jump in GT." - states Will Nonnamaker
Joe Nonnamaker qualified the #43 HRPWorld.com Corvette in a solid 18th place with a time of 3:00.4. With the focus for the #43 upon winning the Bob Akin Award, a conservative approach to qualifying was focused upon.
"We have a goal for this weekend. Going into qualifying, I reminded myself of the big picture, and focused upon putting in solid laps." - states Joe Nonnamaker
The strong run by Team Sahlen continued in Saturday's morning warm-up. Wayne Nonnamaker positioned the #43 HRPWorld.com Corvette comfortably in 6th position.

The 1000 km race at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah will be televised on SPEED TV on September 15th starting at 1 pm.
