Over the years, the Phoenix Promotions crew uniforms have evolved.
Initially, the team wore T-shirts. From their the uniforms changed to Polos. Then the team had the striking Red & Black embroidered button downs. Most recently, the team wore the memorable blue button downs with the white and green stripes.
For the 2004 season, the Phoenix Promotions crew will have a new look at the track. The team's new shirts will be a silver and black camp style button down shirt. The shirts are light and breathable so as to help preserve the crew's energy. On the front the shirts sport two flashy sports stripes down the front. Worn both tucked and untucked, the Phoenix Promotions gang will trendy and hip.
New black team sweatshirts and hats will also be unveiled. Each item of merchandise will have the Phoenix Promotions branding.
The Phoenix ProMotions effort was formed in 1984 by Bill Pate and his brother Phil Pate. Over the last twenty years the team has become one of the most prolific teams in professional sportscar racing. With over forty professional victories and three consecutive Triple Crown Championships (Driver, Team, and Manufacturer Championships) the team has amassed a record the envy of many teams.
In 2004, the team will enter 3 Porsche 911s in the Grand-Am Cup and 2 Porsche GT3 Cups in the ROLEX Grand American series.
