Dating back to 2001, Will Nonnamaker has won the last four Grand-Am Cup Sports Touring II races in Canada. Those events include Mosport 2001, Trios Rivieres 2001, Mont Tremblant 2002, and Mosport 2002.
All of those victories have come in the Acura Integra model. The Integra has proven over the years to be the most successful model in Grand-Am Cup history.
"I don't know what it is about Canada, but our team always does well up here," states Will Nonnamaker. "It is such beautiful country. I really enjoy both the Mosport Park and Mt. Tremblant circuits. We have a real challenge before us in Canada, to continue our streak, and pursue the 2003 Championship."
Will is joined in 2003 by his new teammate - Howie Liebengood. Howie is no stranger to success in Canada, having won at Mosport (2000) and the Toronto Grand Prix (1999 & 2000) events.
Currently Howie and Will are only one point out of the Driver Championship. And the #43 & #42 HRPworld.com entries are second and third in the Team Championship. Acura is well on the way to a third consecutive Manufacturer Championship.
The HRPworld.com - King Motorsports Acuras bid for the 2003 Championship will be supported through partnerships with AEM, American Honda / Acura, Denso Iridium Power, Grill Craft, Hawk Brake, Mugen Sport, Pennzoil, TheRaceMarket.com, TheRaceSite.com, Waikem, and Volk Wheels.
