Many a race fan has come up to Team Sahlen to ask what the strange logo is on the front of the Mazda RX-8s. The logo appears to be a strange calligraphy or greek symbol. In actuality, it is the logo for Iannetti Design.
Iannetti Design famous for their focus upon Mazda Rotary Motors. They have designed Advanced Carbon Seals for the rotary motors. And additionally the sound management system used by the team for quieting the high revving Rotary is specifically designed by Iannetti Design
“For those that have ever driven a Rotary, or been a spectator when one goes by, you can attest to the ear piercing sound that it can make. Thankfully for all our drivers, we are partnered with Iannetti Design that has produced a system that has certainly taken the pain away from this Rotary nuisance.” – shared Joe Nonnamaker
