For the 1st event of the year, the ROLEX 24 at Daytona, the Team Sahlen crew voted RJ LeClair as the MVP for the event.
For the Barber Motorsports Park event, the Team Sahlen crew voted nominated Mke Thomas as the Crew MVP. Mike recieved the honor by getting to wear the Donald Duck "Quacking" hat due to his extra efforts at the track. Not only did MIke get to deal with slight body damage to the #43 on Test Day. Also, as the Team Truck Driver, he had the situation of dealing with the broken diff on the truck that needed to be sent to a shop in Birmingham.
Mike has been a part of the team since 1993. As you can see from the photo, Mike choose to wear the hat all "hip hop" putting it sideways. Congrats Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
