Team Ohio Mazda Owners Club held another successful event to help make wishes come true for children with life threatening medical conditions in Northeast Ohio.
Team Ohio Mazda Owners Club hosted a Mazda Owner's Car Corral on September 16th and September 17th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexinton, Ohio. Presented by Castrol and co-hosted by Team Sahlen, the corral included Dyno for Charity and raffel with all proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Northeast Ohio Region. This year's corral raised over $3,200 to make wishes come truf for children and families who need it most. Team Sahlen also collected donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by selling Team Sahlen hot dog hats. In just two years, Team Ohio Mazda Owners Club, along with Castrol, and Team Sahlen, have raised over $4,400 to support the Foundation. Additionally, Team Sahlen carried the “Make A Wish” branding on the sides and hood of the #42 Mazda RX-8 at the Mid-Ohio event to raise further interest in the project.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is thankfull for the generous support of everyrone involved in the 2011 Mazda Owner's Corral. Because of supporters like this, the Northeast Ohio region of the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted a record breaking 155 wishes to children in Northeast Ohio, alone.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. For more information, visit www.makeawishohio.org
