Sahlen Packing Company, Inc., the title sponsor of the June GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race at Watkins Glen International (WGI) since 2003, has renewed its partnership with the historic road course for another two years. Sahlen’s will continue as the title sponsor of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and is currently the longest running, ongoing title sponsorship at The Glen. The 30th running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen will be part of an action packed race weekend at The Soul of American Road Racing featuring four races and four different racing series, June 3-5.

"Since coming on board in 2003, Joe Sahlen and the Sahlen’s brand have been huge parts of our success and we are thrilled to be continuing this fantastic partnership," said Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International. "The fact that we are celebrating the 30th running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen shows the staying power and tradition of this event and it will remain a key piece of our schedule for years to come. We look forward to working with Joe and his team for another two years to keep the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen one of the premier events on the Rolex Series schedule. As a native of the Buffalo area, I grew up loving the fine hot dogs made by Sahlen’s and they continue to be my favorite to this day making this announcement very exciting for me personally."

The racing action starts on Friday, June 3, when the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, F-2000 Championship Series, and F-1600 Formula F Championship Series all hit the track throughout the day. The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge will take center stage that night with the Continental Tire 150 at The Glen. The excitement will continue with the main highlight of the weekend, the 30th running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, on Saturday, June 4. The up-and-coming open-wheel drivers of F-2000 and F-1600 will provide the on-track action on Sunday, June 5.
