Team Sahlen heads west to the Laguna Seca Raceway for a Wild West Shootout in the Grand American ROLEX GT event. The Saturday afternoon race will feature 20+ exotic Sports Cars dueling it out on the historic Monterrey race track.
In the past two seasons, Team Sahlen has had good fortune at Laguna. In 2005, Team Sahlen qualified 4th and finished 10th. Then in 2006, Team Sahlen finished in 7th place.
"We have had good luck in GT at Laguna Seca. It would seem logical that the West Coast drivers would have an advantage. But we have been very successful in utilizing Grand Turismo video game simulations to learn and relearn the track each year." - states Will Nonnamaker
Driving the #43 HRPWorld.com Corvette will be the father and son tandem of Joe & Wayne Nonnamaker. And in the #42 HRPWorld.com Corvette will be duo of Joe Sahlen and Will Nonnamaker. Additionally, Team Sahlen will be practicing the #41 Pontiac GTO in the Thursday Test Day to gain valuable track time.

The Laguna Seca ROLEX Sports Car Series GT Race at Laguna Seca Raceway will be tape delayed on May 26th at 8 pm on SPEED Channel
