During 2003, the Team Trailer received an exterior make over with a new metallic grey paint, new side door & step, exterior canister lights, and generator.
For 2004, the team trailer has undergone a complete make over during the off season.
This was a very large undertaking that the entire crew put extra effort and time in to accomplish. Because of their efforts the Trailer is now even better.
The interior walls have received a fresh white painting. The entire diamond plate floor was buffed and polished. The top level ramps have been redone, with new arms and diamond plate. The lower level has also received the same treatment. The DURA cabinets have been moved back under the ramps. The steps have been diamond plated as well. The upper level tire racks have been redesigned to accommodate the larger Porsche wheels.
Additionally, Holiday Canopies is building a new tent for the team, when we are not in garages. The previous tent suffered a fatal blow during the Mt Tremblant weekend when a wind storm came through. Previously, Holiday Canopies has been responsible for the new tent for our 21' trailer utilized for our Driver Lounge.
All these enhancements make for not only a more appealing trailer but more work friendly environment. And as an extra bonus, the new ramps have lowered the weight of the trailer by about 3000 lbs.
Like the team, the trailer has evolved since we initially purchased it in 1993. The crew has done a great job making it one of the most professional and user friendly trailer in the entire Grand American paddock.
