The 2003 Grand-Am Gup Banquet was a BIG event again this year.
The whole team had Saturday off, so everyone had a chance to rest up, cleaned up and dressed up.
Held inside the Speedway, Grand American threw a great party with a great catered meal, and open bar.
Since no one wanted to miss the Banquet, the team took up two full tables.
After a hard fought season, the team received several accolades for a good year. Joe and Wayne Nonnamaker won the GS II Driver's Championship. Howie Liebengood finished 2nd in the ST II Driver's Championship. The team won the GS II Team Championship and finished 2nd and 3rd in the ST II Team Championship. Both Acura and Porsche won their respective Manufacturer Crowns.
"It was a great banquet, and its great that the team is able get together at this event to share these good times. It was nice of Grand American to hold this big year end party"
- States Team Founder Bill Pate
At the end of the Banquet, everyone received a Free hat from Hoosier. The team chatted into the night with several of the Grand-Am Cup officials and competitors.
